We are not vintage guitar dealers so we’ll try to represent this guitar as accurately as possible. This guitar is on consignment with our store, the original owner passed away and his wife is selling the guitar.
Here we have a vintage Gibson ES-330TDC. Based on the serial number and hard to narrow down info it is either a 1962 or early 1963. Serial is 83xxx, rectangle fretboard inlays and dog-eared black P-90 pickups are pointing us to the born-on range.
This is in great condition but was a gigged guitar that was loved and cared for. It appears to be all original except for the tuners, which are not good. They are Grovers but obviously don’t match the guitar at all and must have been some of the cheapest available at the time. It does include the original case but is one of the glorified tolex covered cardboard cases, and is in ok condition.
We haven’t done anything to the guitar except for a fresh set of strings and wiping off the dust.
We have documented all important aspects of the guitar through photos but if you need shots of specific areas please contact us. Other than minor buckle rash and the occasional ding here and there it really is in great shape. There is a hairline crack at the neck joint to the body on the top, shown in photo. Structurally a non-issue but we want full disclosure.
Since this is a consignment guitar we are not accepting returns but have done the best we can to describe it accurately.
