About the Owner

Christopher's music experience started with the guitar at age 12. In school he played in jazz band as a bassist and guitarist, but his desire was always to play guitar-oriented rock. At age 14 he began playing with groups performing covers by various artists from Rush to Van Halen and heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden to Judas Priest. By the time he was 18, Christopher was playing as a regular in the southern Indiana bar scene. Not wanting to play bars forever, he decided to take his skills to the next level and enrolled in Musician's Institute (GIT) in Hollywood, California.

After graduating, he earned a spot as the lead guitarist with Sciacca, a late '80s hard rock band in Los Angeles. Regular gigging and sold out shows in many of the clubs on the Sunset Strip — Whisky A Go-Go, The Roxy, Gazarri's — generated enough interest that the band signed a speculation deal with Hollywood Sound Recorders. Nearing completion of their first album, internal differences drove the members of Sciacca apart.

While in LA Christopher was able to record in major studios including Ocean Way and Hollywood Sound Recorders, along with smaller project studios such as SBK (a former LA-based record company).

After relocating to Denver, Colorado in '94, Christopher continued to write and record music in his home studio while building on his recording skills.

After relocating to Nebraska, Christopher became part of his church's praise team as the guitarist and worship leader. Since that time he has been playing in Christian rock bands, currently of which is "AfterLife".
